If your thinking about getting one, do it! It took a couple of days for my dog to warm up to it, but now she loves it. I have noticed that she is drinking more water now. Its easy to clean and fill. The unit is whisper quiet. Most of all I love how the filter catches the food particles. It keeps the water so much cleaner.
Every one of my fur kids are drinking more. I’ve got 4 rescue cats and 1 rescue dog. There is a standing water bottle next to the fountain which is there for back up but no one drinks from it. What I wanted to catch them doing is all sitting waiting for their turn from the fountain. Yes literally they wait for their turn… maybe I need to get a second one.

The filter system is amazing. Normally when I clean water fountains in the past, one filter, which needs to be changed every week. This system has a black band around the filter battery. It actually catches loose fur, lint, hair and the charcoal filter keeps the water from getting slimy. I change the water every 2 weeks!
A couple months ago I noticed my dog, Scout, walked up to her water dish, sniffed it, and walked away. I found that odd so I kept watch to see if she would do it again. I found she preferred to lick the melted ice water running in the gutter outside. I always washed her water dish out with soap and water every time I filled it so why was she not drinking out of it unless she had to? As fate would have it I came upon an ad from Rhykin regarding their water system and the reason dogs would prefer to drink from their continuous flow water bowl. I ordered immediately and it came later that week. Honestly, she drinks out of it all the time now. We dogsit an elderly dog for a family member while he is out of town. The fountain is quiet and the motion sensor has a good range and field of view. I have the wireless and it works great. Perfect for moving the water supply to convenient locations. The battery lasts a very long time between charges. None of my pets like the spout and drink off the side getting water on the floor. Using basic tools found in any home I was able to change the crimp and rotated the spout to one side which helped a bit. Alternatively just removing the spout works too.
8 days after ordering and I am still waiting for delivery. I wasn’t aware it came from China, if I had known that I would have gone to different brand. My daughter ordered one from a well known competitor and it arrived within 48 hrs and it’s great…..

3.2 litre kit arrived today. Very easy to assemble and get running. Our male Yorkie investigated immediately I placed it on the pad and started drinking immediately. I gave a lower review earlier and said I would update if it changed. At first my dogs all walked around it and looked at it my daughter said "like its an alien". (we have 4 dogs) A german shepherd, a lab cathoula mix and 2 King Charles Cavalier Spaniels. They all love it now. I have to change the water definitely more than every 2 weeks like most people have said, but it still lasts longer than our other bowls. I change it ever 2-3 days. I charge it about once a week. It hasn't died yet- I just do that so I don't forget and let it die. I love that it has a sensor and doesn't just run all the time. When I change the water and clean it-it isn't slimy like the old bowl used to be- I just really rinse it out and clean good with soap and water once a week. We love this. I guess I can finally throw the box out. It was well worth the $200 spent for the bowl and extra filters!
